Two things we may keep, and what each is worth.
The reader improves on what it could not read. An account that lets us keep those misses pays less for each metered page we actually keep one from. Neither one keeps a drawing: one is a string, the other a crop a few hundred pixels across.
- The string itself, for example RAD. 4, capped at 60 characters
- Which kind of read it failed: callout, caption or process
- The drawing, the crop it came from, or anything around it
- Email addresses, and anything we read successfully
- The crop around a feature we read poorly, typically 200 to 400 px across
- What the reader made of it, so the sample can be labelled
- The rest of the sheet, the title block and the part geometry
- Your company name, the drawing number, or anything identifying
- Pay as You Go contributes both by design, and its €1.25 is priced on that basis.
- On Production you choose, in the console. For every page beyond the 500 included that we keep a string or a crop from, the credit comes off the €0.95: €0.02 for a string, €0.05 for a crop, €0.07 at most. A page with nothing to learn pays the full rate.
- On a contract the same two amounts are where the negotiation starts, applied to the page rate you agree.
Feature crops can only be on together with strings, so the credit on a page is €0, €0.02, €0.05 or €0.07, and only on pages we keep something from. Contribution is prospective: switch it off and the credit stops from the next billing cycle, and what was kept stays kept. It cannot be combined with end-to-end encryption, because there is nothing we could keep. On a pinned account, what we keep stays in your region.
Buy the capability, not the tier.
Compliance is priced by capability, not by volume. A defence supplier reading 100 drawings a month has the requirements of one reading 10,000 and none of the volume, so each capability is booked on its own, priced on its own and dropped on its own.

Three extraction axes, mixable in a single call. Every page costs the same whichever you ask for: €1.25 on Pay as You Go, €0.95 on Production beyond the 500 included. There is no per-SKU rate card, and a contract negotiates one page rate against what the account actually sends rather than three.

What teams ask before they start.
Which plan should I start on?
Pay as You Go. It is a production API key with no term and no volume to commit to, so there is nothing to get wrong on day one. From 472 pages a month Production is cheaper, and you can move that day on the same key. A contract is for when you need your own paper, real volume or a region of your own.
Can I test it before paying?
Yes, in the browser demo: it reads your own drawing with no signup and no card, up to 10 drawings a day. An API account needs a card: Pay as You Go checks it with €1 that is credited to you in full, and Production is paid at checkout.
What is the €1 charge on my first invoice?
A card validation. Pay as You Go stores your card and bills the pages afterwards, so we charge €1 once at signup to confirm the card can actually be billed automatically. Finding that out weeks later, mid-invoice, is worse for everyone. It is credited to your account in full as usage credit and drawn down before your card is next charged. It is not a fee, and it appears on the invoice under that name.
Can I mix SKUs per call?
Always. Ask for metadata only, go deep on features, or layer insights, per drawing, in one request. On Pay as You Go and Production the page costs the same whatever you ask for; a contract negotiates one page rate.
Where is my data processed?
In the EU: Frankfurt, with a geo-redundant backup in Stockholm. US processing (N. Virginia, backup in N. California) comes with the residency add-on on Production or a contract, set up when you book it. Zero retention is available on Production and on a contract: switch both contributions off in the console and we keep nothing for training. Pay as You Go keeps unreadable strings and small feature crops, never the drawing.
What about the 90-day exit?
Pay as You Go has no term at all. Production and Contract are annual, and both can be exited with 90 days' notice, so there is no multi-year lock-in.
Do you offer custom output schemas?
Yes. We match your ERP/PLM/MES schema and return JSON, CSV or XML in your format, on a contract.
How fast is processing?
A median read takes about 13 s for an A4 sheet and 29 s for an A1. Parallel requests and Express queue priority (≤ 10 s p99) are add-ons on Production and on a contract.
What do you keep from my drawings?
On Pay as You Go, two things: a string the grammars could not read, and the crop around a feature the reader read poorly. Never the drawing. On Production and on a contract you choose, and each one you allow is credited on every metered page we actually keep one from. End-to-end encryption and zero retention keep nothing at all.
Are the prices shown with or without tax?
Every price on this page is net: it excludes VAT and any other applicable taxes. VAT is added where legally required, based on your billing country and tax status.
